@lazzer408 Im sorry , but you are wrong. A 3-D/4-D ultrasound only costs around $90. My wife is about 24 weeks and I bought her a session. It cost me $160 for the 3-D ultrasound, massage, video , pictures, and a bear. Its really reasonably priced

This is still n 2D with 3D rendition (visible length, width, and depth in a two dimensional screen), but definitely not 4D!

@lazzer408 the inventor is not motivated to better humanity. It's competing businesses. GE vs Seimens

Lowest 3d/4d package in NYC is $80, quite expensive but very worth it especially if the doctor sees it and tells you that you don't have to take the amniocentesis test anymore because obviously there are no abnormalities in the baby (hands, feet, head, weight and heart)

@lazzer408 ... I agree. Personally I know tons of couples/single moms who wanted to try this out but the cost was/is too high. I suppose that's how it goes though right? The best is for those who can afford it... As for bettering humanity with this, I don't really see 4D ultrasounds bettering humanity, just another 'extra,' you can get if you want/can afford it. But there's a lot of that too.

It's a difficult decision. Walk in their shoes before you condemn them.

@lazzer408 its between 40 - 70 bucks in california not too bad

i wonder when people have twins if the babies be fighting for space this iss soooooo adorable. awwwww *tear
What's sad is that all this "revolutionary" medical technology stems from the inventor's intention of bettering humanity. The reality is only 2% of the population can afford it.

Well, you are right, but isn't it so with all new technologies? For instance Mobile Cellular phones... In the near future I suppose it will be available for many many more people.
