It's not you... They are in the same key and they start with the same interval from C to F... AND they start with the same word... "Come...". :-) There are many other similarities between both scores.

Maybe it's because I'm addicted to Cenerentola right now, but does anyone else hear similarities between this and Dandini's aria?

This piece is much more vocally stunning if taken at a quicker tempo. It feels sluggish. Well-trained baritone though, I wish he would show somethin' off.
