the arenas don't seem that linear being very wide, they kept the weather effects which I hope affect combat gameplay; like if its sunny then fire spells do more damage and water and ice spells to less damage, raining then water and ice does more damage, thunder spells have more force to them and fire does less damage, if windy, then wind spells will have more force to them. there are actual towns people, item vendors (those women in phoenix outfits I think lol), riding chocobo look fun as usual
