Wow, for many things it's freaking and almost frightening how similar to Oistrakh's she sounds... She could be his daughter : ) I heard many of his pupils and never found they sounded that similar (well, maybe Oleg Kagan in some things).
I'm new to Lydia Mordkovitch's playing.

Guys, have you watched the clip of David Oistrakh? Both of them almost played in the same tempo but you just aimed to critize Lydia? You are not dare to critize Oistrakh because he is a master, right? Come on, be fair, don't take any double standards. For me, I think it would seems like dragging the song if it is playing too slow. Take a bit faster would be more proparate.

At the last variation is written "Très modéré" in four, not "Allegro"!

I play this piece at the moment and the inly thing I can say is -TOO FAST...,???why?

The end could be slower but in my opinion is fine, and I love your playing. Martha and Gidon play it at the same speed!
