This is one of many songs that Charles Feltner wrote and song but never got a lot of coverage. I think the Singing Americans did a great job. Rest in Peace Br. Charlie Feltner.

Despite the lack of a low bass, this group held my interest, and I bought quite a few of their albums. Their live album with Strickland/English was phenomenal. IMO, Strickland was at his best on that album....and Burke, despite not being low, has one of the most pleasant and melodic bass voices around.

He still is an amazing tenor singer. Sings Happy Birthday to me every year :-) He still sings at churches in NW North Carolina.

I'm married to Phil's step-daughter. He will be singing at Welcome Home Baptist Church in North Wilkesboro, NC on Easter Sunday morning. I believe it is the early service: either 8 or 9.

Maybe it's just my age, but I don't have the energy to get worked up about copyright law and whether or not some people use musical instruments.
Or maybe it's the fact that I have a life.
