  • it' rfeally old clayton sang with them prior to 87 cause at that tie he was with the kingdom heirs

  • This is one of many songs that Charles Feltner wrote and song but never got a lot of coverage. I think the Singing Americans did a great job. Rest in Peace Br. Charlie Feltner.

  • Despite the lack of a low bass, this group held my interest, and I bought quite a few of their albums. Their live album with Strickland/English was phenomenal. IMO, Strickland was at his best on that album....and Burke, despite not being low, has one of the most pleasant and melodic bass voices around.

  • He still is an amazing tenor singer. Sings Happy Birthday to me every year :-) He still sings at churches in NW North Carolina.

  • I'm married to Phil's step-daughter. He will be singing at Welcome Home Baptist Church in North Wilkesboro, NC on Easter Sunday morning. I believe it is the early service: either 8 or 9.

  • Thank you sir for providing this song it is one of my favourites

  • My group's called the Willamette Valley Quartet, since we can't use the Singing Americans name.

  • Yes BBC is still around I work for KWFC the radio station they own. As far as the name the Singing Americans is concerned if you are from Heartland no one will ever here you anyways so use it as you see fit. Tell the grand puba Davidson hello will ya.

  • Maybe it's just my age, but I don't have the energy to get worked up about copyright law and whether or not some people use musical instruments.

Or maybe it's the fact that I have a life.

  • My grandma went to that college. Is it still operating?
