Danelle Schlegelmilch from the American Red Cross updates you on what the American Red Cross is doing to help those affected by this mornings earthquake and tsunami in Japan and the Pacific.

Those who want to help can go to www.redcross.org and donate to Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami. People can also donate $10 by texting REDCROSS to 90999 to support our disaster relief efforts in Japan and tsunami throughout the Pacific.

I heard only 10% of the donated money even gets there. I also heard the majority goes to Corporate accounts, Religious mission groups and Advertisement.

I would like to host a few people in Japan that are in the streets because the shelters are full. I called the Japanese Embassy & U.S. Embassy & just get stone walled and the run-around. Why don’t you guys have a database for people willing to host people from Japan? I mean it’s simple with all the money people donate. I will help directly, but I am not sending money into Outer space. I am willing to pay for the Airfare, just find the people, get them a Passport, put them on the plane
