I am A QPR and Celtic fan from Dublin. The club was set up in 1882 and was originally called St. Judes. The shirt was green and white hoops. So QPR were the first to wear the famous green and white hoops!. We have loads of Irish fans as we are based in a largely Irish area of West London. I was at the game that day in Loftus Road and loads of us in the QPR end were flying our tricolours. Up the superhoops of London and Glasgow.

Talman,a fellow Hoop told me this in a pub,I asked him if he had any proof etc after you asked me,he just said somebody told him in a pub! It may be worth investigating the QPR site,I personally cant be bothered,if its true Im sure you should find out through the net! Hail Hail!

can anyone tell mw why the Green Brigade put their banner up upside down at games please? cheers.

The banner is hung upside down in protest at the appointment by the club of the war criminal John Reid as its chairman. Hanging the group banner upside down is a common form of protest among the Italian Ultras and it has been borrowed by the Green Brigade to protest against the Celtic PLC board.
