@beatlesforever65 Well said! There is plenty of room for many great songs and many great versions of those songs without there having to be a "best." Thus the saying "variety is the spice of life."
I would also point out that most of today's advanced recording techniques can trace their origins back to the Beatles. Before they came along to push the envelope recording was pretty much live - no multiple tracks or over dubbing,etc. Gotta love all those gifts they gave us!
