Betty, a small 0-4-0T loco, couples and takes the train through the yard and away up the grade.
Gauge 32mm (1.25"), scale 1:19. Auckland, New Zealand.

    Hi, the coupling is done with a three link chain. I'm guessing you think that the loco couples automatically. A tip - this is an edited movie, watch the steam and look for the cut where the coupling up took place, unseen.

  • I have a suspicion that it was gauge 1 (45mm) but this loco has real steam and a THIN controller!  :o)

  • Hi, I must ask have you a chuffer on your Merlin Mayflower, it sound excellent, its just like the real lkoco !!! and whistle, !!! have you any fitting tipe regards the chuffer, as I'm about to one to mine !!!

    any hints & tips are always welcome, the Merlin Mayflower is such a great like engine, thanks again for your video.

  • Ive been looking at this real steam engines for a while now! they look amazing! i think! that was a really nice set up! new zeland was such a good place when i went there on holiday last christmas!! newzeland is what england should be!! i will be moving there when im older! my mates think im abit weird tho... for liking the engines... as i am only 20 :S im going to start my collection soon with a small stationary model! :D when i get paid next thats the thing i NEED!!
