natural hair: SASSY UPDO// easy styling

Hey luvs, here's a fun style that I've created a moth ago and posted on instagram. many people ask for a tut so here it is.. hope guys enjoy.

SOFT BRISTLE BOAR BRUSH

ECO STYLER GEL

I STARTED OUT ON AN OLD TWIST OUT, I MIST MY HAIR WITH WITH THE WATER AND ALOE MIX, THEN APPLIED MY SHEA BUTTER MIX TO SEAL IN THE MOISTURE.
I APPLIED A GENEROUS AMOUNT OF GEL AROUND MY HAIR LINE FROM FRONT TO BACK AND SMOOTH IT WITH MY BRUSH. I USED MY SCARF SHORTLY AFTER TO HELP MOLD MY HAIR. AFTER A COUPLE MINUTES I REMOVE MY SCARF AND USE A HEAD TIE TO SECURE THE HAIR I. I THEN START FLUFFING AND SHAPING THE HAIR.-----------------------------------­----------------------------------------­------------------------------------

I use my shea butter mix and flaxseed gel, to dedine my curls.

How do you define your curls? Your hair texture is very much like mines but i havent tried anythg to define my curls like your. Very pretty.

Maybe it's just me but when I use that Eco Styler gel I get a bunch of white flakes and build up. I'm not sure how anyone could use this all over their head, as I had this problem with just using it on my edges. :/

it really depends on what u mix it with . i usually only use it for slick hairstyles and i only keep it it my hair for days max. when u use it on wet hair mix with other products that, it sometimes cause that white flakes when your hair is dry.
