Three hours and fourty minutes worth of train journey through fantastic scenery, crammed into around six minutes! This was early Summer (May) 2008, on a train packed with tourists (myself included). It was not possible to have a bay to myself, so I had to share one with the nice gentleman opposite, whom you can see in the reflection in the window :-) Im not a proffesional camera person, as you will see, but never the lessI am sure you will be able to appreciate the spectacular view, as I did. The train was the usual staple diet of a two car class 158 DMU. Sadly, gone are the days of loco hauled trains with observation cars :-( !! ENJOY !!

  • Super, thank you, a chance to 're-visit' my recent week's holiday at Lochcarron, a couple of steam trips, 1997 and 2000, both with 75014, and my longest 'munro' walk, to bidean a coire sheasgaich and lurgh mor and return, nearly 14 hours, from Attadale in 1999.
