This is my stalion Max and me. We are stretching. (not sure of the spelling of that word).

This is the only time I use candy (apple) when I ask him to do anything.
This cause I wish the natural stretching and not the forced.

  • I'm gonna do Pat Parelli's version of Natural Horsemanship soon with my mums friends Irish Gyspy Cob :) I'm really excited. Do you get to ride even though you do Parelli? It's just that my mums friend wants me to do Parelli with him, will I still be able to ride him, though?

  • @AbbieLovesMurphy you have to ask your moms friend if you are aloved to ride her horse =)

  • What breed is he? Lovely horse -- obviously well cared for!

  • @silvertreefarm Thank you. :)

He is a swedish breed, I dont know the english name but translated they are named Northswedish coldblood trotter. Or just Coldblood trotter.

  • Where did you learn all how to use natrual horsemanship? A trainer?

I dont use it, but i have a amazing bond with my horse. We can do tricks and tackless and everything. Will a natrual horsemanship trainer help more?

    Beautiful horse. :]

  • @cowgal58 Im educated Natural horsemanship trainer. I lerned some here and there, but my education I got true a really good trainer in sweden.

One can never get to good communcation with their horse, so yes if you tryed the right kind of horsemanship, you would get a better bond with him/her.

However make sure you choose a really good trainer, with good reputation. There are bad trainers that can break down a horse, so be carefull!

  • @No1HorseLuvrX Really? Most Parelli people I've met wait til they think no one's watching, then beat their horses because parelli methods aren't working for them. No doubt Parelli can do it, but he needs to make sure the people who teach his method are learning it properly

  • Beautiful horse! If I were you I'd keep an eye on the joints at the base of his neck, just because of how far you ask him to stretch, as it damages the cartilage when over done :D

  • @Abbielovesmurphy yeh parelli includes riding, if your friends mum will let you

  • @greatbigbubby dont talk crap. Parelli is a great natural way of riding, groundwork and creating a bond between you and your horse. More horse abusers are found who do traditional riding. @AbbieLovesMurphy Parelli is great and yes you can still do riding xx

  • wow this is amazing just wondering how long will it actually take to get a horse to trust you like one at a riding school

  • @AbbieLovesMurphy be careful with parelli, there's a video of him abusing his horse. i wouldn't touch him if the training was free.

  • how adorable. i'm happy you are kind to your horse.

  • He is absolutely beautiful <3
