If you look it up (I dont remember where I saw it), they dropped it off of the chrysler building, and it still worked.

Your only bending the metal,
Try shocking it, by dropping it from the empire state building.
I can do pretty much the same with a Radio Shack Mic,
Because I am only bending the globe and metal casing.
But try dropping them, like what I said before, dropping it from the empire state building.
Or give it to kids and let them throw it around for a couple of hours.
See if it works after kids throw it around and up against the walls and stairs and throw it out the window.

Ya, well... try letting an over excited Lead Singer sling your Band New SM58 against a Brick wall!:O Shattered the Housing!!!:O They can be broken... but yes the Mic Element Still works!:)

when i bought the SM57 the noob selling it tried to sell me the extended warranty..... i told him THIS SHIT IS BULLET PROOF! I DONT NEED THAT SHIT.
