Lee, Andy and Ian completed the South Downs on Sunday 31st May 2009 12:30in Winchester. The ride comprised 110 miles (not 99 as advertised !!) and circa 29 hours in the saddle in just over over three days. We survived too many hills to mention (leg burning climbs and bone shaking descents), two punctures, sleepless nights due to camping, a bee sting, police search (for our support van), sunburn (better than rain) and sheer exhaustion, not to mention getting lost along the way. Many thanks to all those who sponsored us - we raised over £500 for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Sorry about the loss of original soundtrack - have used audioswap for something copyright free
Nice one guys, awesome achievement - am currently in training for SDW and this vid is good inspiration - thanks!
