@StupidInventions BTW, there is a way to repair the vertical lines on the screen, the horizontal lines however can't be. With the vertical lines you just run a hot solder iron over the ribbon cable on the bottom of the screen. Remove the rubber strip before doing this and have the system powered on and darkest contrast to see your progress. For things like backlighting, you can visit either nonelectronics(dot)com or kitsch-bent(dot)com.

@broken1394 Maybe, although I have to say my Ipod would run out of juice a long time before the gameboy and after 19 years my gameboy still works, the Ipod died after barely 2 years. Suck it modern technology!
