3. STEHR Rallyesprint.eu 2008

Trailer of the unofficial German final run in rallying. Located in Storndorf near Alsfeld, the sprint started third time since 2006. Main initiator is Jürgen Stehr, a rallye fan and historic rally car driver who owns a plant where roadworking machines are built. On this area a special track is built from tarmac and gravel. The worth of sports is low, but the show really nice and a great event overall.
Highlights this year were: Horst Rotter with presentation runs of the new MSD Opel Corsa S2000 and the "Swedish connection". 4 guys drove as guests: Kalle Grundel (VW Golf GTi), Ola Ströberg (Saab 99 Turbo) and the legends Bjorn Waldegaard (Porsche 911) and Stig Blomqvist (Audi Quattro A2)....

You're welcome. Yes, it was great overall. I hope that the idea to start the event in July will be cancelled. I'n not sure how many (good) drivers would attend during the running season. And the conditions for a great show are much better in winter than on dry tarmac in summer...

We will see.

Great scenes...what an excellent event it was again, this year..

Looking forward to next year...i´ll be sure that it´s getting much warmer in July than in Novemeber :-D
