Blackheath is a small village community in the Blue Mountains of Australia's east coast, on the edge of a United Nations World Heritage Area.
At over 1000 metres above sea level and surrounded by vast forested valleys it experiences dramatic seasonal changes. From snow in winter to dry heat in summer. Photos by Trish Davies and Mike Chirgwin.
