I made the list a few years back. I recently decided to put video to it for fun. As I say in the vid, my music tastes have changed, and there are many things I would do differently if I made a list today.


Also keep in mind that no one in the history or future of the world will ever be in 100% agreeance with a list like this.

@metalmandan9 Maiden is in there at number 10. I also comment on the exclusion of BM at the start of the video. It's funny, you're about the 15th person to ask why X band isn't on the list when they are.

Pretty good list you really cover most of the best from each metal genre. I know you weren't into black metal so here I recommend some essential black metal albums: Emperor-"In The Nightside Eclipse", "Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk", Immortal "Pure Holocaust", "At The Heart Of Winter", Satyricon "Nemesis Divina", Mayhem "De Misteries Don Sathanas", Ulver "Bergtatt – Et eeventyr i 5 capitler", Burzun "Filosofem", Dissection "Storms Of The Light-Bane" Dimmu Borgir " Enthrone Darkness Triumphant"

 rust in peace is amazing but once a band sells out theyre not true. megadeth and metallica both sold out, thats why i dont like either........ put maiden first.
