I'd love to visit Shimla but after watching this video.. it doesn't look very safe to go by train or by bus around.. it's scary!! can anyone tell me whicy is the fastest and safest way to reach there and thru which city? is it thru Mumbai or Delhi and how long does it take by road.. how many hours?

To get to Spiti I thought you must travel the Rhotang Pass and the Kumzum Pass....after Manali..

Nice clip,Thanx 4 uploading.I was born in Shimla distt & during my millitary service I'd served 3 years in Kinnaur Indo-Tibet border.I really miss all these place.Comparison to european roads there r very dangerious road.

There's also such a train that leaves from Pathankot, Punjab to Kangra, Himacha... I know there was that train service when I used to visit Pathankot from Batala, Punjab as a kid... I don't know if the still have that cute little train or not...

I remember my trip very clearly, It was very scary as one looked over the edge of the road, the road looks so narrow and dangerous -But the scenc was beautiful. This bought back memories...
