@GunWebsites They used to be servants of the people, unfortunately the roles have reversed as we slide into serfdom.

I just finish reading this book. and all I can say is " self-defense is to survive from being kill to live in hell on earth" So not fair. System like to turn innocent person in to criminal. If you're not dying don't shoot.

If the south want's to succeed, I say good riddance. Those states house complete imbeciles. The education system down there is just despicable and to this day they can't stand that the north kicked their ass and freed the slaves.

@GunWebsites I'm pretty sure the federal government wouldnt just let them leave, the citizens of the rebelling state(s) would have to be willing to kill US soldiers to get their secession. Especially a state that has the economic importance of say Texas (oil after all), DC just wont let them leave willy nilly. You'd also have to account for the citizens in those states that do not want to lose US citizen ship, they might take up arms and fight to stay in the country.

This is very disheartening. If I survive an attack, I get most likely thrown in jail. If I do not survive the attack, then who cares? So no matter what happens, I lose, period. With this set up, what is even the point of trying to surivive?
thanks for posting

@MrColt45acp
no problem
Glad we have the opportunity to do so, when I heard this show a few weeks back I figured other people might enjoy their conversation as well !!

I've always found these states talking about succession as a completely comical and fairy-tale like. I suppose if they want to start a civil war and cost the lives of millions of Americans for their own selfish ideals than sure try to leave, things will be far worse than they are now.
As messed up as this country is and probably will be for quite some time both politically and economically... I'd still rather live here than anywhere else on the planet.

@bharlan2002
Civil war? You seriously think CA or NY are going to get up off their back ends if TX or AK left the union?
There would more likely be some kind of parade IMO
