Horse Heaven

VIEW THIS IN HIGH QUALITY

Video projection for a play, "Blood Sports" by David Edgar. Scene involved a horse being shot, the actors playing the horse stood in front of this when they were meant to be going to horse heaven.

The clouds were made out of cotton wool, marshmallows and sugar lumps, dangled in front of a green screen by fishing wire, which is why they shake all over the place. The horse was from Poundland and belonged to one of the actors, it had moldable wings so we stop motioned it. Originally the final horse was going to fly up to a horse god, a photo/film of a horse in the middle of a Tellytubby sun, but the director didn't like it.

So yeah. That's what this is.

Music is the Lacrimosa from Mozart's Requiem.
