This is my first video of a series of many that I want to share with all of you out there. Anyone can become a picker and we are going to show you how easy it is to make money doing it.

I have been a picker for over 15 years, what got me started in this business was the simple fact that it still amazes me that you can buy something for lets say $0.25 and turn around and sell it to someone for hundreds. I do this all the time. The vintage t shirt market is a niche market and I'm going to show you how you can turn $20 into $300 or more in a matter of days. This is no joke, I have made a living doing it for over 15 years now and the market is wide open.

Just think of this, when you go into any store these days lets say Walmart or Target, do you ever check out the T-Shirts? They are trying to make those throwback shirts look cool, hip, vintage. The key here is these big companies understand Vintage T-Shirts and they have been cashing in on this for some time now. The difference here is that those are cheap overseas made reproductions. Do you know that most shirts made pre1995 where made in the USA? Now look at any shirt you have... I bet it says it is made somewhere other than the good ole USA. Sorry to ramble but the point here is Vintage shirts are a High Commodity and have a better rate of return (depending on the tee) than gold! Where can you buy stock for $1.00 today and by tonight or within 3 days have it sell for over $100? Hmmm??

So buckle up and get your note pad and pen ready, you are going to be taught by the one and only Voodoo Vintage.

yeah the international market is a big market for us especially with Vintage Tees'. Now the tricky part of International shipping is the post office is the only cheap option and USPS First Class International doesn't include tracking. I pay the extra fee to have it registered and that will provide me with a tracking # just in case the item never arrives. If anyone nows a cheaper way to ship Internationally I would love to hear how I can save money.

  • @globalvoodo I do a lot of international sales and now that I can print first class international postage through eBay I have been selling more. You might even consider using foreign words in your title if you dell more to one country.

What do you do for tracking international packages?

  • @wstoner

If you are looking into selling Vintage clothing, 25% of my sales go International don't forget if you list an item to make sure it is being seen across the world. When making an International sale always include some type of tracking as proof of delivery. If not some buyers will take advantage of you.

  • @globalvoodoo I sell a lot of vintage stuff overseas also. I love it whey have 50% off. They included the furniture the other day and I bought a whole box truck full.

  • Just wanted to let everyone know that at this moment there are 287,618 vintage shirts on eBay of which 23,755 are on auction. If everyone in the city of Chicago (2,896,016 population) was to buy a vintage shirt on eBay today there would only be enough for 10% of the people.....WOW!!! Now try doing the math for the coverage eBay has just in the USA?... just saying. .... makes you think doesn't it?
