some reasons why its better
1: You can overclock it to 2 gig speed and upgrade ram to 2 gig. to overclock go to the bios menu on startup and choose overclock
2 GAMES yes u can also play games on the eee pc but the wind is OVERCLOCKABLE
i dont yet have this laptop but im getting it, i know a bit about it because ive been looking at it for weeks..
so my final answer is YES you should get the msi wind.

hi i noticed that you posted this video quite a long time ago but i still hope you get to read this ... i have the asus eee pc notebook right now but iam planning to sell it and buy the msi wind U100 instead... will it be a good choice?? is the msi wind better?

Full sized laptop? Yuck, I hate those, way too big. Especially if you already have a cor2duo/quad desktop I don't see the need to go that big, these mini notebooks are great for the size, I know people who also run 7-8 hours on one battery on some of these midget laptops!

Nope, If you look closely again you can see the tower of the PC next to the desk at the left. There is a white modem on it. Could be something else.
I really like the Msi Wind so far. It's been great to have. It performs almost like a full laptop.
