An evergreen song, which also has a small key of hidden alchemy. In all the ways with which Bowie sings it, it will never get old. To the friend VampireBowie, on his birthday (but what does it mean for the "vampires" the birthdays ?! LOL).

  • This song is such a piece of garbage like much of his final work....sad to think 2003's REALITY may indeed be Bowie's swansong as he battles, ironically, age and health issues. I, for one, wish he had one more great song/album in him , but I fear that was 1995's OUTSIDE.

  • @leonakita

Gentle Madam or Sir, these words, so much original and elegant to express an "artistic criticism", are perfectly in line with the flat greyness of an anonymous channel such as that one behind which you've preferred to hide yourself. The words (when respectful of oneself and so of others) have authoritativeness if they are uttered by a person free to be responsible, otherwise they are "garbage". Anyway, thanks.

  • I LOVE BOWIE AND I LOVE THAT SONG!!! WISHED I WAS THERE!!!

  • @brandola1971

To whom you say it ....... LOL.

  • I remember seeing this on the tele back in 2003. so nice seeing it again...thx.

  • @hmae20

Oh, I'm glad of making you resurface a nice memory: Mr. Bowie always leaves indelible marks that are easy to revive in our hearts ...

  • I love this song; I like how Bowie's sense of humor about himself shines here :)

  • I love you, David Bowie

  • @adolfo21 I intend to live forever, if I do not, I will know nothing of it. I dare to offer this man offered comment as to dreaming, living forever?

  • @leonakita speak for yourself, I LOVE the album, and this song

  • The unconscious to David Bowie is a wonderful thing. David is an artist who translated his own human condition making the best music quality. I am absolutely crazy about him.

  • @Scoobydoonut May I humbly offer? David is shall we say ultimate artist? Statement from the man I will ever carry flag upon? Me? Old 53-year old catcher as to modified-pitch softball. Step off young one? Pick you off I will. Run on the old man, throw behind you I will. Old-fart meaning me watches. Step off, pick you off I will, hence, better take care?

  • @INNERSOUNDVISION Well said, my dear and gracious friend, as always, you speak with intellegence and eloquance, the master may or may not make any more albums, but if this is truly his last, it was a magnificent album every bit as good if not the best of his career. I shall always hold it dear in my heart, as I do the beautiful soul that created it. As for people who love to degrade things of beauty, a saying from when I was a little girl comes to mind...consider the source, lol...

  • My sweetest Fiorella, as always a visit here brings a lightness and happiness to my heart, our beautiful angel, so full of joy that just looking at his smile chases away the troubles and worries. A much needed respite for the tired traveler, makes one feel young again, thanks again for this brilliant ray of sunshine, love and kisses ♥♥♥♥♥
