Auto Ikea Roller Blind video

Automatic blind opener and closer. A bog-standard IKEA window blind modified by myself to open at dawn, and close at dusk. Operation is via light sensor circuit and several relays to drive a geared DC motor forwards/backwards to operate the blinds. A magnet on the bottom of the blind operates reed switches top and bottom to shut off power when fully open or closed.
Light sensor is adjustable to trigger at different light levels, trivia: geared DC motor was retrieved off a Bevmax 2 vending machine!
