What the commentators fail to understand is that non-lethal methods were tried.
On April 10th, protesters were removed from Phan Fa bridge without loss of life.
However, when night fell, the protesters returned, assassinate Col Romklao and attacked resting troops with M79 grenades.
The government had no choice but to remove the protesters by force (after the Red Shirts refused an early election). Any attempt to remove them was met with guns and bombs - lethal force was inevitable.

Instead of stoping all the violence, Thai Government ignored demand from all over the world, they continue to take control and killing of the people of redshirt demonstators. Now all Thai Citizen do not have any free dome in their every living life style.
