  • I can't believe I am just now rediscovering Jim Dawson! I wore out an old Jim Dawson album as a teen playing his rendition of "Four Strong Winds" over and over but never listened to the rest of the album. Now I wish I had! We have never met but we are still kindred spirits .

  • @fractalization I can say I've known Jim for over 40 years! Damn I'm old! He's still performing and I'm still videotaping and posting some old and new material. Great stuff!

  • Jimmy Dawson, You and me we are old friends...I missed the party, I guess it was because I was in Providence? Please know dear one your old pal is back home in NYC. See you et al at the next gig by God's Grace. My love to Ernie.

I have all my Dawson archival memorabilia with me, including photos of Joyce and John at the beach, and my skirt and you in the Ocean while I was drowning! All LPs and one copy of "Simple Song" Stan's orignal sheet music. I love you madly,Candy RN

  • Wow! Jim Dawson. I can't tell you how many years it's been since I saw Jim in NYC. I wore my vinyl "Songman" out long ago.How can I hear more. What a find.

  • I last saw Jim Dawson over 30 years ago in Roslyn NY and just found this video. He puts on a great show and his songs have stayed with me all these years. I hope he allows more on You Tube. Thanks Jim!
