elliott is my favorite driver of all time, so this was so heartbreaking, HOWEVER: big ups to alan kulwicki(RIP) for being able to win the title, if i had known how unique and how dedicated kulwicki really was, i wouldve felt worse when he died. he was one of a kind. you have to do more than just win races to win the championship. or thats how it used to be atleast

Davey Allison should've won the championship in 1992. He had the most consistent season. He was the most dominant driver. It's a shame he got screwed over by Ernie Irvan along the front-stretch at Atlanta in this race. R.I.P. Davey.

Always smiling,. Not a whiner like Kyle Busch. Just happy with the season he had even though he came so close to winning the Championship

What the fuck did he said?

That's a heck of an accent right there.

Thanks for the reply! I don't think that this is the same Bill Elliot that I knew! Sure looks like him,but your information cleared it up for me,thanks again.

Does anyone know where Bill grew up? I ish I could reach him, when I was six years old, I lived next door to a billy elliot, and he was obsessed with racing, and Mario andretti, and his dad would bring home race cars. But I moved away shortly thereafter,we were the same age, played together etc.we even got our pictures made with santa. i wish I knew if this was the same one.Can anyone help?
If Bill knew how 1993 would turn out for him I bet he'd rethink being glad that 1992 was over.
