A short film showing an audio visual installation in Queen Street Mill, Burnley. It was the final part of a series of works entitled "Ways of Seeing", which was aimed at people of all ages, especially young people to engage in their local history.

A group of young people researched, took photos and interviewed people who used to work in the mill.

The project was part of the Cultural Olympiad 2012; a series of projects nationwide celebrating british culture ahead of the the 2012 olympic games.

The mood and atmosphere created by the work was incredible. We tried to capture that in this film.

This is a 2 minute edit for SOTA12 "State of the Arts conference 2012" - it is a responding to a number of themes raised about the role of art to provocate a debate about this issue.
