Tetsuo: The Bullet Man is both co-written and directed by cult Japanese filmmaker Shinya Tsukamoto, who started this with Tetsuo: The Iron Man then Tetsuo II: Body Hammer, and directed Bullet Ballet, A Snake of June and Nightmare Detective 1 & 2. It was co-written by Tsukamoto and Hisakatsu Kuroki (Nightmare Detective 2). This premiered at the Venice Film Festival and also played Sitges, San Sebastián and Tribeca. IFC Midnight is opening Tetsuo: The Bullet Man in limited theaters starting on January 21st this month

Whereas part 1 is scary and disturbing as hell, this one seems more "accessible" to outsiders of the fanbase and yet it looks more badass than disturbing. Tetsuo II seemed dull but loved the first one.
