Doesn't move or really help further understanding of my first you tube, "A totally concentric rotary engine" but isn't it beautiful?:)

This engine is truly unique in that the mechanical function of increasing and decreasing volume, has for the first time ever, been demonstrated in a closed chamber mechanical process THAT NEVER DEVIATES FROM COMPLETELY CONCENTRIC, ONE WAY MOTION and that uniqueness is patented. US Pat #7,188,602

Demonstrating the confinement of expanding gasses, found only in the closed chamber combustion process, while avoiding the ENORMOUS waste motion of the piston engine.*
*At 4,000RPM, an 8 cylinder engine completely stops, then wildly accelerates, only to once again slam to a stop, it's pistons and rods an astonishing 1,067 times, every second! Really! Can that in any way be construed as reasonable?
Newcomen's great piston idea was OK in back in 1719, at 2 or 3 strokes per minute. Its now year 2000 plus, time to retire it where it belongs, in a museum with huge spotlights! I nominate the Honda F1 and the British WWII Napier.... polished and turning..

Can it be a coincidence that while the earth's fleet average of the modern 4 stroke piston engine with enormous expenditure, complexity and sophistication, has topped out at about 25% efficiency, when compared to the fact, that only one stroke out of every four is performing work, is also 25%?

Gas turbines are concentric and spin very fast too, making a lot of power. But, they are an OPEN CHAMBER combustion process, essentially ignoring the pressure of combustion, utilizing only the transfer of kinetic energy fraction. As such, while exceptionally compact, powerful and reliable, they are even less efficient that the piston engine. Don't stick your hand in the exhaust, a bunch of that burning fuel and all that potential pressure got by without doing work!

We HIGHLY admire what only Mazda did with Felix Wankle's remarkable "rotary" but if its a rotary, then so is the Hula-hoop. All that wobble severely cripples RPM., 3,000 in the RX8. Don't be fooled by the tach being hooked to the 3:1 output shaft. 9,000RPM does sound cool though... not nearly high enough for our CLR engine however...

Have we combined the high power, compactness and reliability of the gas turbine with the efficiency of closed chamber combustion? Yes!

Oh yeah, that cherished SAE fable, "long sweep of combustion wall contact bad" is utter nonsense, quite the opposite is true and we can prove it! Only true if you insist on continually sucking out all the valuable heat with that exceptionally wasteful piston engine necessity, coolant and radiator.

Only four moving assemblies, isn't it time?

We have the answers to internal sealing, the truly remarkable numbers in the virtual analysis report by the premier group, MSC, http://www.mscsoftware.com/success/?Q=286 and much more.
