  • this was terrible...

  • @samshepherd

    Whut.

I have a couple of American friends, and they understand sarcasm just fine.

  • @samshepherd Don't fancy yourself. Most people who speak English as their native tongue use and understand sarcasm. People who have learned English as a second language don't always get the subtlety of sarcasm. I'm sure they are quite capable of it in their own language, however.

  • I'm British and not agreeing with anything in this about British comedy... the main part of British comedy that is wholly British is sarcasm which a lot of foreigners don't get because they just don't understand or recognise sarcasm.

  • I'm an American but I like most British tv comedies, except fir Monty Python.

  • a more pressing query -- mexican humor or ecuadoran?? those "tamale farts" jokes are killers

  • that's not John, that's Phil Campbell

  • I really liked this show, i 'm trying to figure why ... I just liked it. A lot of friendship and natural stuff ... bravo !
