Beautiful and haunting images of New Orleans post Katrina set to Louis Armstrong's song - Do you know what it means to miss New Orleans? Music shifts to upbeat Brass Band music and shows beautifully intact New Orleans.

  • No one in the world can ever understand how much this city takes hold of those from there unless they are lucky to be from nola. Where ever I am in life... New Orleans will always be my home and have my heart.

  • I miss New Orleans sooo much!! but I'm stuck in Texas =p

  • Lived in New Orleans all my life and I must say that I am very fortunate to have grown up and continue to grow up in this great city.. (now if only we could clean up some of the lesser seen neighborhoods then truly the greatest city in the US .. no offence to anyone else lol)

  • My roots are from NO. I'm not, but my heart is :)

  • I miss my baaby! They dont know what it means Satchmo!!!!!!! lol

  • Love this video. It captures the spirit of our city! Whatever the "trials" may be, New Orleanians know how to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off & come back BETTER than ever! We take care of our FAMILY!

Come home! We miss you too, Honey!

  • I miss my city EVERY day..... out in Cali travel nursing and I can't wait to get back home for good .... I still go every chance I get and hate leaving!!!!!!!!!

  • without a doubt my favorite city on US soil. i married a beautiful louisiana native and moved there without a clue. i mean i have always loved it via past work stuff but never lived there. now that we're away from nola (work opp), we miss it tremendously... the friendships, food, the music. nothing like it on this planet.

  • Thanks so much for the memories...I spent 6 months there and have been everywhere in that city. Love and miss it.

  • just got back from New Orleans and completely fell in love with the city. every bad stereotype i ever heard was disproved... the city is beautiful, the people are wonderful, and the food and music is incredible.

  • People who hate on New Orleans have never lived there. They see stereotypes, not the beautiful, cultural, fascinating city that it is. I know this because I lived there for several years and I'm married to one of those people. It took me seven years to get him there and now he's finally starting to change his mind. ; )

  • i miss it so muchh

i lived in lower 9th wrdd
