  • hmmm, seemed a bit dangerous to me, when had propping an engine are u not meant to stand in front of the propeller then move back as the propeller starts rather than standing behind.

  • he's so skinny, no chance of the prop hitting him... huh Joel! :)

  • He makes it look like "wheel of fortune" !

  • Pilot dies after being struck by propeller newspaper today !

  • If his hand slipped as the engine caught he would fall into the prop

  • @flyklh I worked there too, off and on as a kid. Sure miss those cubs

  • Whats the tail number on that cub? Looks like an old Aerial Signs/ Van Wagner cub out of North Perry in HWO. Got about three years of towing there.

  • I am sure it does well, but it doesn't mean it can't look rough, and it does. I can show you tons of airplanes that are not rough looking that make money. DHL, FEDEX, UPS, all have perfect looking airplanes just to start. I have personally seen many banner planes that look great as well.

  • Show me a airplane that isnt rough looking that makes money for a living.

Yes its modified for Banner towing......and it does it well.

  • Forget how scary hand propping that thing is, I can't imagine flying it. Wow, that is a rough looking airplane. Banner towing special?
