  • There's a Cogongrass Treatment Cost-Share Program offered by the Florida Division of Forestry. For some reason YouTube won't let me post the entire URL, but you can get to it from this website: fl-dof.com

  • I wish Florida had've been able to take the same approach as GA, but unfortunately cogongrass is kicking our butts. I help manage 1200 acres of forest land in NW FL and we have multiple plots of this shit in almost all of our timber stands. Do you know if there are any programs in FL that will help pay for herbicide application?? We were on one called equip but it was only a spit in the bucket of what we needed and it limited where we could spray based on if the land was on CRP.

  • I just read in my local newspaper here in Mississippi, about this. They say this grass has already begun to spread in 62 of Mississippi's 82 counties.

  • Any updates on how this fight against cogon grass is progressing? Looks like a great effort to fight it.
