Just to set some things straight, If you have windows XP, you will NOT be able to play on very high. Very high uses Dx 10 which XP is not compatible with, if you want to do very high, your gonna have to spend the extra $150 for windows 7

Is there not a display setting for a 16:10 monitor? I hate the stretched out look of the game but damn the graphics are nice!

u should be fine, as long as u have at least 512 mg of video memory, u can also try the canirunit web site

you should be able to run it fine, but dont expect for the anti aliasing or antiscopic filtering to be all the way up, mess with those untill u get a frame rate you are comfortable with, also keep in mind the resolution you will be using, try to keep it no higher than 1680 by 1050. All the other settings should be fine on high and the frame rate like i said depends on the antiscopic filtering and the anti aliasing. Also switch between dx9 and 10 and see which one you are more comfortable with.
