Marginalization of Eunuch community & the role of public policy

Eunuchs in India are highly discriminated against. This short film talks about an Eunuch's right to exist in the mainstream society with a legitimacy equal to that of males and females. The classification of the society has been simplified by the state, which as led to social rejection of this third gender. The film focuses on the state of Eunuchs in Ahmedabad and the country in general. The main interviewee is Sonia, who heads the Eunuch society of Ahmedabad.
