with bi-polar disorder, SSRIs can cause manic episodes. Tell you what, I'll read the sites you mentioned if you google "the depressive and the psychopath" and read the article by Dave Cullen.... deal?

I'm not aware of any conspiracy regarding Cho's records. I just know the autopsy said no meds in his system. I assume you're saying the cover up encompasses the autopsy as well.. If it is withdrawal that causes violence and aggression, why did Harris have a therapeutic level of an SSRI in his system? Why did Kinkel have a therapeutic level in his system? Really the only way that SSRIs can bring on violent behavior is if they are given to someone with bi-polar disorder. In some people....

you're still not understanding -- it is the withdrawl symptom that people go nuts, too.
secondly, cho, the virginia tech student? umm, have you not heard the news lately? massive conspiracy to hide his records. look it up. I won't describe that happened for fear of misrepresenting it. try rawstory or infowars websites for info in that regard

Maybe, LL, there's a connection between depression and school shootings or bi-polar disorder and school shootings. Think about it... look up the number of prescriptions written per year for anti-depressants. If they caused school shootings, shouldn't we see a ton more school shootings than we do? As I said before, Cho, the person who killed more people than anyone in school shooting history, didn't have even a trace of meds in his system.

No, you fool, that could be caused by the people not taking the drugs anymore --
-
Wow! And SSRI are pretty weak drugs too... =S

One last thing... national research statistics also demonstrate that adolescent suicides have INCREASED dramatically since "black box" warnings have been placed on many SSRIs. This would be because many, many primary care physicians no longer prescribed them for fear of legal repercussions. Primary care physicians are the most frequent prescriber of psychotropic meds.

If you google "Cho autopsy" you should find an msnbc article (and others) that confirm Cho was not on meds. Kazmierczak had been off his meds for 3 weeks and could have been in withdrawal. He could have also had a return to a baseline level of functioning. I think we have to remember that school shootings and other acts of mass murder occurred by the millions long before SSRIs were even invented. National stats actually show that incidents of school shootings have DECREASED since SSRIs came out.

he was off his meds for three weeks. He was in massive withdrawal from his meds. Been there done that. Cho was on meds.
Speech was good, nice to now there's switched on people out there willing to raise their voice. Camera work was a little doggie but the old lady is just a classic. LOL
