Birmingham International Airport (BHX) Plane Spotting on 8/9/11 (Part 3)

Part 3 - A dull, cloudy day plane spotting at the end of runway 33 (at Long Stay Car Park 1) at my local airport, Birmingham International, again on my own. I was very glad it was cloudy today of all days due to the fact that the sun ruined my take off videos last time, and also runway 33 was in use today for once due to the fact that there was a strong southwesterly crosswind affecting runway 15, meaning I could film much better videos and get some great close up photos from a variety of different angles. As Birmingham Airport is one of the very few airports in the UK that has a north/south facing runway, it is more prone to crosswinds. @edwardsweeney24 Cheers. Ahh I see what you mean, good question. When this was recorded there was HUGE gap in the fence to I was actually filming through the fence... about 2 weeks later the fence was fixed to I had to film over the fence or behind the fence so the closer fence can be seen in some of those videos

@matthiashaenni Oh I do like it, what I meant was I prefer the fokker 100 swiss instead of the BAe146 as there are enough BAe146's at birmingham atm. One time I went to BHX and the fokker wasnt there, which I wasnt happy about because like u said they are sort of rare and they used a BAe146 instead that day :(

@TheBHXSpotter Yeah, F100 have become quite rare now. BAe 146 is a British plane... u don't like it? I like it. Flew several times to London. Was always great.

@matthiashaenni Cool! I aint that good with fokkers lol, and I thought the 757's were loud! I think this is the only fokker that flys from birmingham im not sure because there are different planes on different days, sometimes instead of the Fokker 100 Helvetic they use a BAe146, which I dont like.

@TheBHXSpotter Oh yeah I agree! I know this plane very well... I filmed this plane even by myself a few times. Man, it was always veeery loud!!! Old Fokker 100!
