THE SHOT IN LANDSKRONA. Part 3

The Faroese documentary, made in connection with 20 years anniversary of the Faroese National Football Team debut in international competitions. In their very first competitive game, in a Euro-92 qualifier, the Faroes historically and sensationally beat Austria 1-0. The game was played on September 12th, 1990 in a neutral venue, the Swedish town of Landskrona, due to lack of even one grass field on the Faroes.

The documentary was made and narrated by Suni Merkistein and Faroese TV (Kringvarp Føroya) and broadcasted on September 12th, 2010 on 20 years anniversary of that historical event.
