"Jackson" (Cash/Carter) with special guest Lena Mar

The course of true love never runs smooth. "Jackson", a song written by Leiber and Wheeler is about a couple whose relationship has hit the skids. In this tune each partner threatens to go out on the town in Jackson and capture the attention of the opposite sex (while, of course, demeaning the others sexual prowess). This song became a hit for Johnny Cash and June Carter and won a Grammy in 1967.

The BluezGeek was blessed to have the beautiful and talented Lena Mar to be his "June" for this tune. Lena is a wonderful singer/song writer and performs throughout Los Angeles and the U.S.
