These were VERY busy! Here are a few fun facts about Barnes Jewish Hospital:
-Largest hospital in Missouri
-Consistently one of the top 10 hospitals in the United States for 17 years (rated by US News and World Report)
-Opened December 1914, merged with other hospitals in the area to form an enormous 4-block complex connected by sky bridges.
-Employs 9,317 people
-18,270 outpatient surgeries and 18,157 inpatient surgeries were performed at Barnes in 2008
-81,895 emergency department visits in 2008

  • I never rode those. i think i know where these are though, too bad this is "adams city" :(

  • That bench you see in the beginning is identical to the ones in Queens Center mall.

  • Would one of the other buildings in the complex be named "The Noble"? :)

  • If I ever have to go to a hospital in St. Louis, I'll make sure I go to Barnes. :)
