On this day in 2008 one of the most talented actors in Australia took his own life.. Mark Priestley suffered from depression for many years. When his girlfriend broke up with him this became too much for him to handle. He booked into a hotel room with a balcony under a false name and soon after he was found on an awning of the Myer Centre in Sydney's CBD. I was so devastated when i found out the news in 2008 about Mark's death as I used to watch him weekly on All Saints and it was very hard to believe after what happened on screen, the week that it happened Mark's character Dan Goldman just got married and his character looked pretty happy so it was such a huge shock for me and i think it would have been a huge shock for other fans not just me?
I know that this tribute isn't as good as the one i made for Mark's family and friends last year but i just want everyone to know that i'm still thinking about Mark's death even though it was 3 years ago!

Suicide is attempted every 3 seconds worldwide!!
this is honestly so sad! that so many people in the world are trying to commit suicide. I wish that we could get this number down. I hate knowing that so many people are feeling like that all round the world its so sad!

I cant believe its been 3 years since Mark took his own life, its gone so quickly, and even now I still love watching him on All Saints. Coming from someone who also suffers from depression its so good to see that you are doing something, even just a video. Its so sad because I have also tried to commit suicide so I understand it all too clearly! well done Caleb and I thank you so much for this video, you've done something so wonderful and hopefully this video will help more people. =]

this is so freaking beautiful, this is so sad also, i nearly cried now while watching this, even though i do not know him, this is so freaking sad, why all these people suffer from depression, why is there noone to help them. u make me wanna vid this soccer player from germany who commit sucide aswell. i just hope mark has a better life in heaven and i hope he knows he will be never forgotten by his fans. this video is wonderful <3
