On the other hand, Twilight, the movie… is still… just… plain stupid! The actors are weak (they are either bitting their lips or making this “I need to go to the restroom” kind of painful expression)… Bella still pisses everyone off and Edward just won’t stop whining!
Well...That’s it! Sorry if I hurt someone’s feelings (thou I don’t think any of the writers will read this so… everybody else shouldn't take this personally).

But I’ll also admit one thing: I believe that the TV series, The Vampire Diaries, is actually good. I believe that they did a wonderful thing by changing EVERYTHING from the original book series. The story makes a lot more sense, the actors are (mostly) well picked and the characters finally gained some personality.

The main characters in Twilight and in The Vampire Diaries (Bella and Elena) are both weak, pathetic and have no sense of self respect, nor self-esteem, and even less, a hint of personality (unless their personality is defined by : “chasing the hottest guy in school no matter what and hoping to get someone killed!!”).

Okay. Anyone with good taste in literature will have to admit that both stephenie and smith are terrible writers. The story lines are ridiculous (and trust me, it has nothing to do with the existence of vampire, thou the glowing in the sunlight thing is preposterous).

@Aynoore are you stupid? the book came out way before twilight did. Stephenie meyer copied most of her ideas from TVD. This show is so much better than Twilight.. and that's coming from some one who used to be a die hard twilight fan. I love vampire diaries.
