Following the release of JMT's "Who Did You Think I Was" video on iTunes, a studio recording of "Come When I Call" was also available for a limited time. And I was finally able to track it down.

  • I love the difference between this and the 'where the light is' performance. This version is a lot dirtier and has a lot more balls, but the live one is far more stately and refined. Love them both.

  • I think the trio stuff is awesome. His guitar is simply flawless and vocals are sweeeet.

  • Thoose drums are more dry than a Martini extra dry ... but Jordan is way too cool!! .. but in my opinion i would prefer just a little reverb at least... Especially on the snare - sounds a bit like a bootleg or something .. :-)

  • @makeitrain47 true

  • doesn't Steve Jordan look like will.i.am in this pic?

  • @brooklynsweb a lot of folks don't know what real music sounds like. the gas that comes out of my ass after i eat beans sounds better than a lot of the crap people listen to nowadays.

  • @guiterry oh c'mon like him for his music not how he lives he personal life.

  • How does this only have barely 50k views?

I'd West Coast Swing the shit of this song!!!!

  • So Raw and naked this version. I like it!

  • Some one please make a backing track of this, I implore you.

  • if you call me i swear i come...

  • @bgordo1015 agreed! John IS an artist! You just can clearly see how much he matured from "Heavier Things" into "Continuum". Continuum is probably one of my favourite albums from this century! but yeah...Battle Studies isn't a bad album in my opinion, it\s just that unlike continuum, a few songs are kinda forgettable. I do like the effects and EQ changes in some songs though. Heartbreak Warfare really reminded me of U2 , it was pretty cool. and Who Says is a great song!
