  • bra you shulda kept 2 or 3 but leave the rest not that many left plz

  • @dasheitmulum there's actually so much papio and ulua that these predetory fish are searching for food sources. i'll still tag for the ulua tagging project and worked in the DAR before so i know there's a lot. you just have to find them where they're feeding cause they'll devour everything in sight. estuaries like pearl harbor and kaneohe bay are breeding sights for ulua and many people from shipyard workers to other fisherman will say that there are so many.

  • Not to hate on you my brother. I use to do the same, but my friend who I fish with is into the papio, ulua tagging and release thing. Before we use to catch choke fish that we use to have to dump out the beers( I mean sodas) bait and ice but you can only eat so much fish. So now we go for the Sport, it feels good when other guys fishing watching you catch good size papios all day and throwing them back with a tag.

  • i'm surprised when someone says you're greedy and yet i observe people bringing in 40+ oama at the beach or 25+ akule/halalu from the harbor or even 2500 lbs of opelu with boat. nobody talks shit about them. if you don't know how to catch fish, give up, stop complaining and sell your fishing equipment.

  • Aloha! You guys clearly know how to whack em'! Would you take a moment to debate me on the topic of catch and release practices/regulations in Hawaii. I understand that you are following the law - but if you have a fishing show, I think that you guys are in a good position to lead the charge on conservation. I just want fishing in Hawaii to be as good as fishing in other parts of the world where C&R practices are part of the fishing culture.

  • here's a link that would help and also check out my other youtube channel under "blacksquidfishingops" or "BSFO"
