.Actually in The Greek manuscript the words r Hothious and Tonthious in Bible e.g.THAT MOSES was sent as "god" to Pharoah.

Hothios=The GOD ALMIGHTY(Capital)

Tonthious =the god(prophet) (small letter)

so jesus was telling is it not mentioned in Old testament dat prophets r reffered as "god" meanz prophet.

@dooli1981 Jesus is DEFENDING His claims of being God by Quoting Ps 82:6. Jesus is saying He is not blaspheming when He made Himself God.

@dooli1981 Yes, Jesus can do nothing by Himself BECAUSE He and the Father are ONE. Whatever Father deos the Son does too because they ARE ONE.

You have to GIVE SAME HONOR just as you honor the Father BECAUSE FATHER and SON are ONE.

1) He who sees the Son sees the Father(Joh 12:45)

2) Those seen the Son has seen the Father (Joh 14:9)

3) Father is working so Son is working too (5:17)

4) Whatever Father does Son does too (5:19)

5) Knowing the Son is same as knowing the Father ( 8:19)

1) Joh 10:28 And I GIVE them ETERNAL LIFE

2) Father's Hand and the Son's Hand are ONE (28neither shall anyone snatch out of My hand, - 29-no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand.

3) Joh 10:30 I and My Father are one."

4) Joh 10:33 The Jews answered Him, saying, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, MAKE YOURSELF GOD."

JEWS UNDERSTOOD WHAT JESUS SAID.

@truetruthusa: Part 2: Regarding John 5:21 & 23 again read verses before & after (in context). Jesus constantly refers 2 his FATHER (GOD) & how he Jesus can do nothing alone but by the will of God. Regarding verse 23, if u do not honor Jesus then it stands 2 reason that it wld mean u r defying & dishonoring the 1 who sent him! Verse 30: “By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but HIM who SENT me”

Verse 25, Jesus says he does the works in his FATHERS (i.e. GODs) name. Verse 29 Jesus says his Father (GOD) is greater than ALL. Verse 30 he says he and his Father r 1, i.e. 1 in purpose & not literally the same being. Verse 31 Jews about 2 stone Jesus & he asks y. They say he blasphemes by saying he is God, this verse is in dispute by the Christian scholars themselves as 2 wat exactly it means!
