  • Where do you get the Mega Memory and GB USB? Also, are they official or homebrew?

  • @chibifox42 It's a 3rd party homebrew cartridge. It doesn't matter if it's official or not because it simply works. Use the last link posted in the video description to go to the store that sells these.

  • Can I use this to back up actual games?

    If not how can I?

  • @RetroGamerGuy10 Yes you can. This is what is highlighted in the video, please watch it.

  • Could you use the USB memory card to store a save then use the mega memory card to restore it to the game?

  • @GoombaMan4 So what you're asking is can you play a game on the GB USB, save your progress - then back it up to the Mega Memory card, and then restore it to the original GameBoy cartridge? Even though it sounds complicated I don't think there is anything preventing you from doing it. But if the ROM/game differs on the GB USB and the original cartridge (even slightly) you may have an issue. But backup your saves and give it a try. :)

  • I Ment The Actual ROM Of The Game, If I Just Missed It What Time Did you start Talking About It

  • Thank you very much for making this video. I booted up my old Blue save for the first time in... wow, since I was like 13 years old. It's been many years and to my surprise it booted up just fine, and I was hit with this incredible nostalgia blast. The game was exactly the way it was as I left it all those years ago. However, as you put it the battery won't last forever. Thanks again for posting all this information. I purchased all the stuff required to backup my old save. So many memories. wow

  • @powerbook86 Yeah that's about it i could be handy for editing gameboy saves
