Southwestern University Wind Ensemble plays Rossini's LA GAZZA LADRA. I had some free time and was able to sit in with this fine group of students this semester. The sound isn't that great due to the mono microphone in my HD camera. I wanted to share this performance with family and friends that couldn't make the concert. Special thanks to my daughter Caitlyn who operated the camera.
nice oboe and piccolo playing, however.

...and the clarinet SOLO (which for some reason was played by two clarinets....?)....was very out of tune...its a solo...why was it doubled?...also a bit too slow for my taste

played this in high school wind ensemble a week ago...I'm not too impressed...we had a much more mature sound

best i have heard not to fast or to slow. just right where we could hear what you were playing. however you did leave out a good part leading up to the climax and finish, i was really waiting for that but dissappointed.
