But yeah, I just don't like it when crazy language wars start on you tube. My original comment was only to prevent something like that from happening - no hidden intentions there :)

@jas121a I do not think I was saying it from a point of view of a kannadiga. Music has no barriers. You wanted to check whether i was a kannadiga before making the comment. I love many tamil songs from Illayraja . I am only saying the lyrics sound better in kannada by how it goes with the flow of music. If you only want to think of kannada/tamil divide here , I do not know what to say! Had I written that the tamil version is better than kannada.. I am sure you would have liked my comment!

Your youtube profile makes it look like you're kannadiga. You think the song sounds better in Kannada because you know the language as well as the meaning of the lyrics. However, a Tamil will definitely think the other way - that the song sounds better in Tamil. What you're describing is essentially a trick of the mind.In any case, your comment touches on a very sensitive language issue, and I urge caution.
